Cosmos (ATOM)
What is Cosmos?
Cosmos is an ecosystem of independent and interoperable blockchains connected through the IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) protocol. ATOM is the native coin of the central hub, used for staking and governance.
The Cosmos Internet of Blockchains includes over 50 chains connected via IBC, among them Osmosis, Injective, Celestia and many others. Each Cosmos chain is sovereign, with its own validator set and governance, but can communicate with others via IBC without centralised bridges. ATOM 2.0 redefined the token's role as economic collateral for the Cosmos hub.
Key data
Why analyse Cosmos with machine learning?
The launch of new chains in the Cosmos ecosystem creates waves of interest and liquidity that are reflected in the ATOM price. IBC cycles, measured by growth in inter-chain transfer volumes, are a leading indicator of ecosystem activity. Important governance decisions, such as ATOM 2.0, create events with measurable sentiment in the days before the vote.
How High Tide's analysis of Cosmos works
Every day, the High Tide model analyses Cosmos by combining multiple technical indicators: RSI to identify overbought and oversold conditions, MACD to detect momentum changes, and Bollinger Bands to measure relative volatility. The analysis also integrates the closing price, trading volumes and the trend over the last 24 hours. The model publishes an UP or DOWN signal only when all indicators exceed the minimum confidence threshold, filtering out weak or contradictory signals. Each prediction is verified after 7 days against real Binance data, continuously updating the accuracy statistics.
